Job summary

ID Logistics in Joliet, IL is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support daily operations in our distribution center. The role handles shipping/receiving, billing, and inquiries, serving as the bridge between customers, warehouse ops, and management.

Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential, with on-site schedule Mon–Fri 3:00 PM–11:30 PM and overtime as needed. The position offers competitive hourly pay ($22.00/hr base + $1.00 shift differential) with benefits including

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service, administrative, logistics, or warehouse support experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook) and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipping and receiving activities within warehouse management systems in partnership with site leadership.
• Process billing and invoicing accurately while meeting tight turnaround timelines.
• Investigate and resolve billing, invoicing, shipping, and receiving discrepancies with customers and internal teams.
• Provide daily communication with customers, operations teams, and management through email, phone, and in-person interactions.
• Serve as a liaison between warehouse operations and customers regarding account administration, invoicing, and credit changes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customer transactions and shipments.
• Support customer inquiries, special requests, and issue resolution in a professional and timely manner.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Transportation, and Leadership teams to support service excellence.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety policies and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
