The role emphasizes processing large environmental datasets, applying statistical methods, and reporting results to project teams. The ideal candidate will have experience with R, Python, and MATLAB, plus a background in environmental science or engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, atmospheric science, chemistry, physics, biological sciences, data science, or a related field.
• Experience troubleshooting environmental monitoring systems and instrumentation.
• Strong data-quality concepts, statistical analysis, and handling large datasets.
• Experience using R, Python, MATLAB, or similar languages for data processing and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental monitoring, laboratory, and field research activities.
• Conduct testing and performance evaluations of air-quality sensors and monitoring instrumentation.
• Collect, organize, manage, analyze, and interpret environmental data.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, manuscripts, and other project documentation.
• Perform statistical analyses and evaluate data quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, technicians, and project managers to deliver high quality results.
