Clean Harbors in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Retail Technician to support environmental services, including safe collection and disposal of materials, recycling tasks, and on-site cleanup. The role involves driving a Box Truck to retail sites, processing shipments, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to use a laptop, handheld, printer, and iPhone.
• Eligibility to obtain CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months (company paid).
• Must perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Pass background check, drug test, and physical per position, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety in all tasks.
• Pickup, pack and transport damaged Goods and recalled products.
• Load, pack and segregate materials and waste.
• Drive a Box Truck to retail customer sites.
• Prepare DOT shipping documents and maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT policies.
• Interact with customers at each stop and ensure proper documentation.
