Job summary

McWane Ductile Ohio is seeking an Assistant Environmental Manager to oversee air, water and waste compliance across the facility. You will lead inspections, data management, and reporting, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations and McWane's EMS.

This on-site, full-time role requires strong leadership, written and verbal communication, and the ability to train staff while maintaining a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or engineering field.
• 5–10 years’ industry related experience.
• 1 year or more leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises hourly and salary employees.
• Ensures compliance with permits and regulations through inspections and recordkeeping.
• Collects and reports environmental data and prepares required regulatory submissions.
• Maintains waste management programs including SWPPP, SPCC and leak prevention plans.
• Oversees environmental training and incident response.
• Maintains documentation in Cority and related databases.
