Job summary

McWane Ductile Ohio is seeking an Assistant Environmental Manager to oversee local environmental programs, ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, and manage EMS activities across the facility.

The role emphasizes leadership of hourly and salary staff, data reporting, and collaborative development of environmental plans. On-site, full-time position with responsibilities including inspections, permit compliance, and staff training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an environmental or engineering field is required.
• 5–10 years’ industry related experience, plus 1 year or more leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Strong written, oral communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises hourly and salary employees.
• Conducts inspections to ensure compliance with all permits.
• Manages air, water and waste data and reporting in Cority and internal systems.
• Assists in developing and implementing environmental plans (SPCC, SWPPP, etc.).
• Reviews and maintains environmental training for employees.
