Job summary

CapstoneONE Search in Ludington, MI seeks an Environmental Engineer to support EHS programs in a high-growth manufacturing environment. You will focus on environmental compliance, permitting, reporting, wastewater, storm water, air quality, waste management, and sustainability initiatives.

Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and site leadership to strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and drive a proactive culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead environmental compliance activities: air emissions, wastewater, storm water, chemical management, waste disposal, recycling, permitting, and regulatory reporting.
Maintain accurate environmental records, permits, and compliance documentation per regulations.
Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings (air inventories, hazardous waste manifests, Tier II).
Interface with operations to evaluate changes for regulatory compliance.
Lead permit reviews, interact with agencies, and support inspections.
