Job summary

Alcami is seeking a Manager, Engineering to oversee equipment and systems performance at our cGMP manufacturing facility in Morrisville, NC.

You will lead, coach, and develop engineering staff, drive improvements, ensure compliance with safety and quality, and partner with clients and internal teams to meet KPI targets.

This on-site, first-shift role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a focus on reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Requires related Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years in management or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction to the Engineering team.
• Directs engineering and capital project activities for the site.
• Implements improvements to reduce failures and errors.
• Oversees multiple capital projects and CAPEX initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with cGMP and company training requirements.
• Establishes metrics and reporting to evaluate engineering performance.
• Hires, trains, and develops engineering staff.
• Represents Engineering during client audits and regulatory inspections.
