Linamar Corporation is seeking an Engineer - Resident to provide dedicated on-site engineering support to key customers. You will handle all process and product engineering tasks related to systems and components, working directly with Linamar facilities.

Responsibilities include maintaining customer-Linamar communication, supporting program launches, and delivering engineering estimates while building long-term relationships with customers.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years automotive experience.
• Experience in a customer-facing engineering role within an automotive supplier environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain smooth communication between customer and Linamar plants, prioritizing urgent issues.
• Provide immediate engineering liaison and response during emergencies at customer sites.
• Act as liaison between customer engineering and Linamar program managers for seamless launches.
• Support program launches and manufacturing concerns with technical input and estimates.
• Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships by working daily with engineering teams.
• Attend stakeholder meetings in person and assist with quoting Engineering Work Orders (EWOs).
• Support APQP activities and provide DFMEA/PFMEA input as needed at customer sites.
