Amphibious Medics seeks an on-site Emergency Medical Technician to support a busy construction site in Electra, Texas. The role involves triage, first aid, and rapid referrals, with responsibilities to maintain records and coordinate with external medical providers.

Applicants must hold EMT-B certification, CPR, OSHA 10/30, and experience on large sites. This full-time position offers hands-on medical coverage, safety collaboration, and opportunities to lead First Aid, CPR, and AED training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of EMT-B certification (NR or state)
• Current CPR certification (BLS or Professional Rescuer)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with OSHA regulations, 29 CFR 1910
• Experience on large-scale construction sites
• Experience with workers’ compensation claim process
• Instructor certification for First Aid, CPR, and AED
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card

Responsibilities

• Provide triage and first aid; refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Remain calm in emergencies; assess situations and respond with CPR when required.
• Maintain medical records and site medical database.
• Maintain on-site inventory, restock supplies, and clean equipment.
• Communicate with outside providers on injury progress and follow up with workers.
• Provide daily activity logs to safety and management teams.
• Conduct site walks and interact with workers and managers.
• Help coordinate on-site health fairs (annual, semi-annual, or quarterly).
• Participate in safety and medical awareness meetings with construction workers.
