Job summary

Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte, LA is seeking a full-time administrative/clerical professional for the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and Plant Operations support. Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in hospital or office setting
• High School diploma preferred; must read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Knowledge of Word and Excel; Emergency preparedness and Safety a plus
• Clerical skills to update/modify electronic files
• Follows directions and shares ideas for improvement
• Administrative / Clerical duties
• Maintains records for EOC Committee
• Prepares EOC information and updates EOC / Plant Operations Policies & Procedures
• Maintains EOC Meeting Minutes and distributes to personnel
• Maintains and updates the Annual EOC / Plant Operations reports
• Maintains and updates the HVA Report Annually
• Maintains and updates the Hazardous Chemicals listing Annually and/or as needed
• Maintains and keeps up with Emergency Inventory
• Assists with all EOC facility tours/inspections (clinical & non-clinical)
• Maintains monthly Performance Improvement for the EOC
• Assists with ISLM's/ICRA's
• Assists Plant Operations with Work Order System, Ordering, scheduling meetings, etc.
• Assists Plant Operations with Emergency Preparedness
• Assists staff in the absence of Director or Associate Plant Operations Director
• Employee will be expected to work at Mercy Regional Medical Center in all areas of competency

Responsibilities

• Support EOC and Plant Operations with daily administrative duties
• Prepare and update EOC information, policies, and procedures
• Maintain EOC meeting minutes and distribute to personnel
• Assist with Work Order System, scheduling meetings, and correspondence
