Twenty seeks an on-site software engineer to build and operate customer-specific features in a restricted, air-gapped government environment near Fort Meade. You will monitor systems, resolve incidents, and coordinate deployments while communicating field insights to Arlington teams.

The role requires six-plus years of software engineering experience and proficiency in Go, Python, or TypeScript, plus experience delivering production software across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Requires at least six years of software engineering experience.
• Strong ability in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience delivering and operating production software across the development lifecycle.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required.
• Must be on-site full-time at a Northern Virginia government facility.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate customer-specific software features, integrations, and AI-backed capabilities in an air-gapped government environment.
• Monitor systems, resolve incidents, and coordinate deployments.
• Serve as on-site engineering liaison and communicate field insights to Arlington teams.
• Contribute to core product development when customer work permits.
