Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Electronic Technician (Level 2 or 3) to join our team in San Diego (Rancho Bernardo), CA. The role involves building, integrating, testing and maintaining communications hardware in lab and field settings, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The position requires the ability to interpret engineering drawings, install interconnect cabling, and work within an IPT structure. On-site work with travel up to 25% (40% during surge) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Datacenter hardware integration, documentation, drawings, and software deployment.
• Assemble rack-based datacenter systems focusing on safety, quality, and ease of repair.
• Interpret, markup/redline, and audit released engineering drawings.
• Install system interconnect cabling for communications, audio, networking, and serial interfaces.
• Perform integrated logistics support (ILS) and inventory tracking for inbound/outbound hardware.
• Implement engineering changes to the system as required.
