Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a Ravenna, Ohio manufacturing facility. The role requires independent handling of common issues and collaboration with the maintenance team on complex repairs.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, diagnosing PLC-controlled equipment, and performing preventive maintenance while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read schematics and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• PLC troubleshooting experience required; PLC programming a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and reading ladder logic to identify faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
