Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Streetsboro, OH to troubleshoot and repair production equipment in a manufacturing facility. You will independently address mechanical and electrical issues, read ladders and schematics, and support maintenance teams in complex repairs.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or an associate’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years industrial maintenance experience or equivalent
• Hands-on troubleshooting of production equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and controls
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools
• PLC troubleshooting required; PLC programming a plus
• Welding experience is a plus
• Basic computer skills and safety awareness

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and reading ladder logic to identify faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
