Qualifications

• AS/AAS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience
• High school/military training and practical experience in a related field
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software; preventive maintenance software preferred
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control systems design documentation

Responsibilities

• Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
• Assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics in diagnosing and resolving electrical or control-related issues.
• Provide training and coordinate activities of Electro-Mechanics across all shifts as needed.
• Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure production equipment is maintained according to the production schedule.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical inspections safely while equipment is operational.
• Address repairs during downtime following specifications.
• Work independently or with a mechanic to rectify failures and restore production.
• Perform maintenance on process control systems, including networks, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical components.
• Maintain secondary systems: steam, hot/cold water, pneumatic air, power, refrigeration, HVAC, emissions control.
• Keep accurate work records per work orders and backlog.
• Travel for parts procurement, training, or other duties as required.
