Job summary

Gener8 is seeking two Electro-mechanical assemblers for a defined 3-month assignment at our Carlsbad, CA location. You will assemble plastic components, read BOMs, drawings, and schematics, and perform wiring and testing with minimal supervision.

You will document progress, coordinate with quality assurance, and help keep the production area clean and organized. Preferred candidates have 3–5 years of related experience, can read mechanical diagrams, troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and work from mechanical diagrams and written instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems in electrical circuitry and basic exposure to electronic circuits.
• Understand and configure electro-mechanical component requirements through assembly work orders, BOMs, drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Understand and configure electro-mechanical component installations using BOM, drawings and schematics.
• Perform electro-mechanical repair and troubleshoot wiring and testing of semi-complex assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Communicate changes to documents where applicable to the actual build of assemblies.
• Perform self-inspection according to Manufacturing checklist.
