Job summary

OurStaff, LLC in Milpitas, CA is seeking mechanical assemblers for a temp-to-hire role in an electronic manufacturing environment. You will perform electro-mechanical assembly, functional testing, and in-process inspection on assemblies and sub-assemblies, following work instructions and test procedures.

The position requires at least 3 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience, basic computer skills, ability to lift 20 lbs, and familiarity with ISO standards.

• Has good understanding of the manufacturing assembly and test process, best practices and requires considerable judgment and initiative.
• Requires at least 3 years’ experience of electro-mechanical assembly.
• Experience in contract manufacturing.
• Familiar with common hand and power tools.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs., able to stand and work for the duration of the shift (with breaks).

• Perform a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Perform functional testing of the product base on automated/semi-automated test stations.
• Perform in-process and final visual inspection and packing of products.
• Follows methods and sequence of operations according to work instructions.
• Inspects quality and completeness of assembly and test steps.
• Records data either in the computer or spreadsheet, or DHR/traveler and print test report.
• Record in process inspection check lists.
• Print in process labels as per process instruction.

Hourly Salary Rate: $22.00-23.00/hr

Work Schedule: Day Shift (6:00 AM-2:30 PM)ORSwing Shift (2:30-11:00 PM) + 10% shift differential on swing shift
