Job summary

Insight Global is seeking Electrical/Mechanical Assemblers for a top Oil and Gas client in San Diego, CA. The role involves reading wiring schematics, assembling wiring harnesses and electronics chassis, soldering joints, and performing functional testing.

You will work under supervision of an electrical engineer team lead, use low/high voltage practices, and follow safety protocols; candidates should enjoy troubleshooting and tight tolerance assembly.

Qualifications

• Reading complex wiring schematics to build wiring harnesses and electronics chassis (7-10 connectors, 4-5 PCBs)
• Knowledge of low/high voltage work and safe practices
• Complex soldering of various joint types and heat-shrink applications

Responsibilities

• Read wiring schematics and assemble electrical/mechanical components per specs.
• Solder joints and wire harnesses, test assemblies and troubleshoot as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA/ PPE requirements.
