Job summary

SST Direct in Surprise, AZ is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Manager to lead quality-control activities within the company's modular offsite construction operations. You will manage the QC team, ensure NEC-compliant electrical work, maintain licensing records, and collaborate with processing engineers and shop personnel to uphold quality standards in manufacturing.

This on-site role requires strong leadership, documentation, and communications skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated quality-control/quality-assurance experience.
• Management or team-leadership experience.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, iPad/tablet technology, and tracking applications.
• Working knowledge of NEC requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC team, establish priorities, monitor quality activities and ensure consistent execution of quality requirements.
• Maintain state licensing documentation and licensing records.
• Collaborate with processing engineers and shop personnel to monitor processing activities and support quality.
• Review shop processes and materials to identify quality concerns and corrective actions.
• Support QC activities for modular construction and electrical systems.
• Track quality activities and project information using tracking apps and MS Office.
• Apply NEC knowledge to review electrical and modular work.
• Identify quality issues and coordinate follow-up to maintain production quality.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to QC personnel.
• Travel to other sites to inspect materials or provide QC support.
• Work independently while collaborating with engineers and management.
