Job summary

SST Direct is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Manager to lead quality-control activities within our modular offsite construction operation. The role manages the QC team, maintains required state licensing documentation, and works with processing engineers and shop personnel to ensure electrical processes meet established quality requirements.

This on-site position is located in Surprise, AZ, with limited travel to support other sites or inspect delivered materials.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated quality-control/quality-assurance experience.
• Management or team-leadership experience.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and iPad/tablet technology.
• Working knowledge of NEC requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and prioritize QC activities; supervise the QC team.
• Maintain state licensing documentation.
• Collaborate with processing engineers and shop personnel to monitor quality.
• Review processes and materials for quality concerns and corrective actions.
• Support QC across modular construction and electrical systems.
• Track quality activities and project data using tracking apps and Office.
• Apply NEC and QC standards when reviewing work.
• Identify issues, communicate findings, coordinate follow-ups.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to QC personnel.
• Travel to other sites to inspect materials or provide QC support.
• Work with engineers, QC personnel, shop teams, and management.
