Job summary

CES Consulting LLC in Seattle seeks a motivated Electrical Junior Designer/Consultant to design resilient, efficient electrical solutions for building projects, including life cycle renewal, decarbonization, EV charging, and lab environments. The role is full-time and on-site with expectations of at least three days per week on site in the Seattle region, occasional North American travel up to 5%.

You will assist senior engineers, prepare drawings and calculations, and collaborate with clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction industry and providing technical expertise to clients.
• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and an understanding of electricity and related principles.
• Expertise in Electrical Design and knowledge of Power Distribution systems.
• Ability to understand, edit, and iterate Industry standard electrical construction drawings including building single-line diagrams, floor plans, elevations, and equipment submittals.
• Experience in preparing calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in design programming for electrical projects.
• Provide owner's representation services and collaborate with Facilities teams.
• Maintain project programs and internal structures.
• Work with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
