Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer for our Seattle, WA office. You will contribute to projects across power, lighting, fire alarm systems, and building utilities, using REVIT, CAD and AGI Lighting software.

Responsibilities include creating detailed plans, performing calculations, and coordinating with project teams to ensure compliant, high-quality drawings. This role requires 8–10+ years of electrical design experience and a strong grounding in English

Qualifications

Associates degree in Engineering Technology or related field is required.
8-10+ years of experience in electrical design is required.
Electrical Designer with a passion for power, lighting and fire alarm design.
Proficient in REVIT, CAD and AGI Lighting Software.

Responsibilities

Set up and detail plans by analyzing sketches and inputs to determine the best drawing approach.
Produce computer-generated graphs, overlays, and isometric drawings from sketches.
Calculate quantity takeoffs and prepare cost estimates.
Perform high level design computations and complete construction plans.
Determine stormwater drainage areas and grading considerations.
Prepare concept layout plans and project exhibits.
Coordinate details between drawing sheets and project teams.
Address assignments of increased difficulty as proficiency grows.
