Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking an electrical role based at Morenci, AZ, a historic open-pit copper mining complex. The job involves removal, repair, and installation of electrical components and basic-to-intermediate troubleshooting in an industrial setting.

The candidate should have one year of electrical experience or an Electrical JTED certification, with strong English communication and safety awareness. On-site housing allowance eligibility is offered for qualifying employees.

Qualifications

• One year of electrical experience or Electrical JTED certification.
• Ability to communicate in English with respect to procedures and safety standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication to satisfy training and safety policies.
• Capable of performing essential functions with/without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Remove, repair and install electrical components; basic to intermediate troubleshooting.
• Assist in safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs.
• Assist in preventative maintenance and installation of industrial electrical/instrumentation equipment.
• Troubleshoot industrial electrical/instrumentation equipment and perform other duties as required.
