Job summary

Tallgrass Energy is seeking an on-site Electrical Technician in Washington Court House, OH, to implement and maintain electrical power circuits, control systems, and related equipment at pipeline and station facilities.

The role requires an Associates degree in a technical field and hands-on experience with electrical instrumentation, blueprints, and NEC standards, with willingness to travel as needed and work non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• Understand and operate electronic test instruments.
• Working knowledge of electrical measurement instruments (voltmeters, ammeters, etc.).
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams.
• Knowledge of National Electric Codes.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems at pipelines, pumping, and measurement facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, compressors, drivers, and auxiliary equipment.
• Inspect and maintain control systems; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee third-party work and ensure adherence to company standards.
