Job summary
Tallgrass is seeking an E&C Technician (Finance) to implement and maintain electrical power circuits and control systems across pipeline, pump, and measurement facilities. Applicants should have an Associate degree in a technical field, strong knowledge of electrical codes, robust reading of blueprints, and experience with test instruments.
Role requires safe work practices, ability to estimate installation and maintenance costs, and willingness to travel.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in a technical field or related discipline.
- Experience with electrical circuits, control and automation systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and diagrams and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings.
- Experience with electrical test instruments and safety practices.
- Driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
Responsibilities
- Design, install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and calibrate electrical/control systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, compressors, and related equipment.
- Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution.
- Lead or assist with third-party construction or maintenance activities.
- Complete required documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
