Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking an E&C Technician (Finance) in Indiana to implement and maintain electrical power circuits, control and automation systems at pipeline and station facilities. A technical associate degree is required along with a strong safety record.

You will work with electrical and pneumatic equipment, read blueprints, and support NEC compliance. Travel and overtime may be needed; background checks will be performed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited institution in a technical field or a related discipline.
• Ability to operate electronic test instruments.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical blueprints and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for activities related to electrical and control integrity including design, installation, inspection, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, repair, calibration of PLC and related systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers and auxiliary equipment.
• Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution.
• Oversee third-party work and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
