Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an EHS-focused professional to ensure compliance with government regulations, corporate requirements, and site policies. You will support personnel and processes on-site to maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.

The role includes evaluating processes, driving improvements, coordinating with site teams, and delivering EHS training and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Engineering, Life Safety, Environmental Studies, Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred.
• Willingness to pursue technician level certification or related program.
• Previous experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety in manufacturing is a plus.
• Must complete training such as First Aid/CPR/AED, RCRA/DOT, OSHA 30-hr, Fall Protection within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates processes and equipment to identify EHS concerns.
• Recommends solutions and drives metric improvements and reduces hazards.
• Inspects work areas to ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
• Tracks EHS KPIs and uses software to monitor progress.
• Coordinates EHS improvement projects with site personnel at all levels.
• Writes procedures and communications to educate about EHS topics.
• Maintains EHS equipment per regulatory requirements.
• Provides EHS guidance and opportunities for improvement to employees.
• Implements EHS requirements using standard operating guides.
• Participates in investigations and safety reviews; follows up on corrective actions.
• Supports Leadership in driving Safety as a core value.
• Assists with EHS training for onboarding and awareness.
• Assists with ergonomic assessments and workstation improvements.
• Oversees contractors for EHS projects.
