Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Leader to advance site EHS programs, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure regulatory compliance across manufacturing operations.

You will lead inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and incident investigations; track EHS metrics; and partner with site leaders to reduce hazards and support programs like lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and emergency response.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or related environments.
• Knowledge of general industry safety and environmental compliance requirements.
• Experience with audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Strong leadership, communication, training, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day EHS activities and programs
• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Conduct inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and incident investigations
• Track key EHS metrics and support corrective actions
• Lead safety training, onboarding, and refresher programs
• Partner with site leaders to identify and reduce workplace hazards
• Support programs such as lockout/tagout, hazard communication, machine guarding, ergonomics, powered industrial trucks, and emergency response
• Supervise EHS technicians across multiple shifts
