AOI is seeking an entry-level EHS assistant to support the health, safety, and environmental compliance at our Sugar Land facility. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safeguarding the wellbeing of others.

You will work with the EHS Manager to implement on-site protocols, perform audits, manage regulatory tasks, and assist with training and incident response. Flexible weekend availability is expected.

Competenze

• Minimum two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Certification or training in First aid/CPR, emergency response, respirator and SCBA, OSHA regulations, HAZWOPER preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to prepare reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
• Willing to work different shifts and occasional weekends; on-call for emergencies.

Mansioni

• Assist with all aspects of environmental health and safety tasks at the facility.
• Monitor, process safety, emergency response, inspections and audits, waste management, training, record keeping and regulatory compliance.
• Work with EHS Manager to develop and implement on-site EHS protocols and procedures per corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with and oversee hazardous work to ensure safety and compliance with company, state and federal requirements.
• Review and update SOPs for hazardous waste operations at the site.
• Conduct EHS compliance audits, regulatory inspections, job training, chemical inventory assessments, job hazard analysis, and risk assessments.
• Participate in Emergency Response Preparedness scenarios and support the site ER Team.
• Provide EHS training programs designated.
• Collect and track compliance records as requested.
• Support day-to-day EHS operations in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and highly collaborative environment.
