Advatix, Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to support EHS programs at its Alexandria, Virginia facility.

This on-site role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and improving EHS programs in a high-volume food manufacturing environment, including inspections, investigations, training, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with site leadership to promote a strong safety culture, manage EHS documentation, and ensure ongoing risk reduction

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of EHS/Safety experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations.
• Experience with safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and EHS systems.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and improve EHS programs, training materials, and documentation.
• Lead safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Deliver safety training to employees and supervisors.
• Support environmental permits and reporting.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and drills.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to sustain safety controls.
