The role suits someone who works well independently as well as in a team. The position requires OSHA/EPA compliance leadership, incident investigations, risk assessments, and driving corrective actions with operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment.
• OSHA 30 Hour or equivalent safety training.
• Working knowledge of federal safety and environmental laws (OSHA, EPA).
• Ability to coordinate with outside agencies and contractors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using data/analyze software to create reports and presentations.
• Demonstrated root-cause analysis skills (RCCA, 5-Whys).

Responsibilities

• Support safe practices aligned with company commitments, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Act as an OSHA and EPA regulatory compliance resource.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis with operations for corrective/preventive actions.
• Perform risk and hazard assessments to identify employee exposure and drive mitigation actions.
