Job summary

Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking an EHS Manager responsible for advancing environmental, health, and safety programs with focus on biosafety, EHS management systems, and regulatory compliance in a lab setting.

You will partner with R&D, Facilities, Quality, Security, and Occupational Health to identify and control risks, implement data-driven improvements, and strengthen EHS culture while ensuring clear governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific/technical discipline and 5+ years in EHS fields.
• Certification potential (CSP, CIH, CHMM, RBP, CBSP) preferred or achievable.
• Experience supporting EHS management systems, audits, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EHS programs and guidance per laws and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments for labs and support activities.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Support EHS management systems, audits, and performance metrics.
• Deliver EHS training and maintain training records.
• Analyze EHS data, generate dashboards, and report trends.
