Job summary

Grace is seeking an EHS Manager to lead safety programs at the South Haven site in Michigan. You will evaluate risks, oversee PHAs, enforce OSHA and MIOSHA compliance, and drive health, safety, and environmental initiatives with site leadership and EHSS teams.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, risk assessments, training, audits, and reporting. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within a global chemicals company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years of chemical, pharmaceutical, or industrial experience preferred.
• Supervisory and leadership experience required.
• Experience with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119 and EPA 40 CFR Part 68, hazardous waste, and wastewater regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Process Safety programs in a process facility compliant with OSHA and MIOSHA regulations.
• Lead and manage Process Safety Advisor and PHAs, LOPA studies, and related compliance activities.
• Support administrative duties for site security and required policies.
• Administer health and industrial hygiene programs (health screening, IH monitoring).
• Participate in compliance audits, emergency planning, training, and reporting.
• Prepare and submit EHS compliance reports; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Administer safety training and drive continuous improvement for safety, environmental, and operational goals.
• Manage EHS tracking systems and corrective actions; oversee MOC processes.
• Ensure mechanical integrity of fire safety systems and plant infrastructure.
