Job summary

Exemplar Global is seeking an EHS Manager for our on-site Spartanburg, SC facility. You will lead safety initiatives, manage regulatory changes, and drive continuous improvement to ensure a safe, compliant environment.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years of manufacturing HSE experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and ISO/Workers' Comp familiarity. The role emphasizes training, data-driven safety decisions, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of health & safety experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Certification in safety training and environmental management preferred.
• Proficiency in Workers' Compensation management and familiarity with ISO standards.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe work environment and act as a safety role model.
• Lead emergency response efforts and manage regulatory changes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Address non-conformances and report safety issues promptly.
• Wear appropriate PPE and be prepared for travel as required.
• Lead safety committees and collaborate with stakeholders to improve safety practices.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs and monitor performance metrics.
• Utilize data to prioritize safety initiatives and support incident investigations.
• Manage Workers' Compensation cases and oversee the Learning Management System.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and manage hazardous waste programs.
• Investigate environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.
