Job summary

HTI is seeking an experienced EHS Manager for our Spartanburg facility. The role focuses on embedding a 100% Safe and Well culture, with emphasis on proactive safety, injury prevention, and process compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in a senior EHS role within manufacturing, with OSHA certifications and an environmental/occupational safety background. This is a direct-hire, on-site position at the expanding Spartanburg facility.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a Senior EHS/Safety Specialist or Manager role within manufacturing.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience developing and delivering safety training for manufacturing employees, including new hire orientation.
• OSHA 10 & 30-hour certifications; CSP preferred.
• Experience with Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management.
• Ability to assess learning needs and tailor training accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with plant leadership to align safety priorities with business goals.
• Supports sustainable risk reduction programs and continuous improvement of H&S systems.
• Promotes a safety culture through engagement and coaching across levels.
• Works with Operations to improve H&S capability across the business.
• Ensures safe work environments and ownership of safety by employees.
• Leads investigations, inspections, and audits to drive corrective actions.
