Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with hazardous chemicals or controlled process systems.
• Knowledge of US EHS regulations and OSHA requirements.
• Degree or qualification in occupational safety, environmental management or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day environmental, health and safety activities across the site.
• Develop and improve EHS policies, procedures, standards and compliance programs.
• Own safety requirements for hazardous chemicals, specialty gases and process systems.
• Conduct risk assessments, JHA, PHA and other safety assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action programs.
• Support process safety management and safe operation of chemical systems.
• Develop emergency response procedures and chemical spill response.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local EHS laws.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety reviews.
• Deliver employee safety training and toolbox talks.
• Collaborate with engineering and facilities on new equipment and site changes.
