Novax Recruitment Ltd. is partnering with an established industrial organization in Western New York to hire an EHS Manager who will own safety at a key operation.

This role is hands-on, on the floor, in the conversation and part of the solution. You’ll work directly with supervisors, employees and contractors to identify risks, strengthen safety systems and create an environment where people go home safely every day.

Qualifications

• Experienced EHS/HSE professional with hands-on leadership.
• Strong OSHA knowledge.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction or another high-risk environment.
• Experience with incident investigations.
• Safety training experience.
• Contractor safety experience.
• Experience developing supervisors or operational leaders.
• Hands-on approach to safety.
• Confident to challenge unsafe practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve site safety systems.
• Lead OSHA compliance.
• Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Deliver safety training.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Lead contractor safety.
• Coach and develop supervisors.
• Identify hazards and implement practical solutions.
• Track safety performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Build a stronger, more proactive safety culture.
