Job summary

MSR-FSR is seeking an EHS Coordinator to provide on-site safety and environmental compliance support at the MSR-FSR Critical Component Solutions Operations facility. This salaried role will work with the EHS Supervisor and Operations teams, requiring up to about 50 hours per week and occasional after-hours support.

The ideal candidate will have an AA or equivalent, safety certifications, and strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and hazardous materials handling to protect people and the environment.

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent from a two-year college or technical/military school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Additional safety training and/or certifications preferable.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, e-mail, etc.).
• English communication and training ability.
• Knowledge of regulations related to air emissions, hazardous waste, and water discharges.
• Ability to research, interpret and understand federal, state, and local EHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the General Manager to ensure OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory compliance.
• Maintain EHS documentation, plans, and training programs.
• Conduct floor audits and spot inspections for alignment with regulations.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Provide respirator training, fit testing, and surveillance documents.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering on waste profiling and storage of hazardous waste.
