Qualifications

• 3+ years of Construction Safety required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily Construction Safety / EHS oversight.
• Support Superfund, environmental remediation, hazardous waste, and construction activities.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, field observations, and hazard assessments.
• Review JHAs, JSAs, AHAs, HASPs, and Pre-Task Plans.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910, 1926, and 1910.120 HAZWOPERS.
• Support HAZWOPER operations, site control, decontamination, PPE, and respiratory protection.
• Perform air monitoring, atmospheric testing, and exposure monitoring.
• Operate, bump test, and calibrate meters and direct-reading instruments.
• Monitor excavation, heavy equipment, confined space, fall protection, and high-risk activities.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, field coaching, and contractor oversight.
• Support incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate EHS documentation and logs.
