Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking an EEG Technician for the Neurodiagnostic Lab on site at the Tampa Main Campus. The role performs routine EEG and continuous EEG procedures under supervision, supporting Neuro Special Procedures Technologists and Neurology physicians.

Qualified graduates of ASET/ABRET programs or an associated Neurosciences degree with clinical training will fit this role; on-site work schedule includes evenings and a full-time shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ASET or ABRET neurodiagnostics program.
• Associate's Degree in Neurosciences.
• Clinical training and neurodiagnostic experience required for graduation or on-track graduation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine EEG procedures.
• Conduct continuous EEG (cEEG) and data clipping/pruning.
• Support Neuro Special Procedures Technologists, Neuro Monitoring Technologists and Neurology physicians.
• Follow established professional guidelines and institutional standards.
• Work under general supervision within Tampa General Hospital.
