Qualifications

• Five years of performing EEGs in a supervised clinical setting (required).
• REEG T eligibility plus two years' electroencephalographic testing experience (alternate).
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrodes according to the 10-20 system with accuracy.
• Recognize clinically significant events and report critical results to the MD.
• Maintain patient safety through clear communication with care staff during EEG procedures.
• Identify and respond to problems in EEG setup and artifact identification.
• Follow safety policies for equipment use and electrical safety in the department.
• Stock supplies and prepare EEG rooms for procedures.
