Job summary

Lindamood-Bell is seeking an Educational Clinician / Tutor for its Newton, MA Learning Center. You will provide one-to-one and small-group instruction to students of various ages using engaging, structured lessons under center leadership.

You will record notes on student performance, apply positive reinforcement, and use the Lindamood-Bell curriculum to support a safe, positive learning environment. Part-time and full-time roles start in August.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, early childhood education certificate, or current student enrolled.
• Passion for helping others succeed academically.
• Ability to connect with students of all ages and manage instructional sessions.
• Strong reading, spelling, and comprehension skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group instruction to in-person and online students of various ages.
• Record notes about student performance while delivering engaging, structured lesson plans under the direction of Learning Center leadership.
• Implement positive reinforcement strategies that maximize learning.
• Facilitate the use of the curriculum provided for Lindamood-Bell Academy students.
• Communicate positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
• Manage client records, both handwritten and electronic.
