Job summary

Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes is hiring an Educational Clinician / Tutor for our El Segundo, CA center. This in-person, part-time role focuses on one-to-one and small-group instruction, delivering engaging, structured lessons and tracking student progress.

No prior teaching experience is required, as paid training and materials are provided. You will work on-site, with hours 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, starting in September, and may have internship credits available.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, early childhood education certificate, or currently enrolled in a degree program (students welcome)
• Passion for helping others succeed academically
• Ability to connect and engage with students of all ages while managing tasks in each session
• Strong reading, spelling, and comprehension skills
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group instruction to in-person and online students
• Record notes about student performance while delivering structured lesson plans
• Implement positive reinforcement strategies to maximize learning
• Facilitate use of Lindamood-Bell curriculum for academy students
• Communicate positively with clients and staff to maintain a safe, positive learning environment
• Manage client records, handwritten and electronic
