Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT Regulations and compliance requirements relevant to commercial drivers.
• Experience with Hiring processes, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Skills in Driver Retention strategies, relationship building, and supporting driver engagement.
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting with candidates, drivers, and internal teams.
• Prior experience in transportation, logistics, or trucking recruitment is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Plainfield, IL and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruitment platforms, and basic office software.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in HR, business, or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• The Driver Recruiter is a full-time, on-site role based in Plainfield, IL.
• This position is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified drivers through job postings, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Day-to-day tasks include conducting interviews, coordinating onboarding and orientation, and ensuring all driver documentation and credentials meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
• The Driver Recruiter collaborates closely with operations and safety teams to support driver retention initiatives, address driver concerns, and maintain a positive candidate and employee experience.
• The role also involves maintaining accurate recruitment records, tracking metrics, and continuously improving recruitment processes to support business growth.
