Job summary

DLS Engineering is seeking a Network Administrator II (WAN) for a full-time, on-site role at Gunter Annex in Montgomery, Alabama. You will support the Air Force Intranet Control program, maintaining routers, switches, proxies and firewalls to defend both classified and unclassified networks.

The position requires 5+ years of relevant DoD network experience, IAT-II and CCNA certifications, and an active Secret clearance. Competitive benefits and 401k are offered.

Qualifications

• IAT-II and CCNA certifications required.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• 5+ years in network administration for DoD environments.
• Experience with routers, switches, load balancers and related gear.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and simulate network traffic to aid in problem resolution or test updated configurations.
• Monitor system utilization and circuit bandwidth and report anomalies to Government team leads.
• Develop, modify or remove scripts to automate tasks where possible.
• Review workload activities per incident or change request for auditing purposes.
• Escalate complex network issues to Senior Network Administrators.
