Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related business field.
• 3–5 years of professional, post‑degree financial analysis, budget tracking, or accounting experience.
• Expert‑level Excel skills (macros, formulas, data manipulation, and forecasting).
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP).

Responsibilities

• Budget execution: participate in the budget process, monitor funds, and evaluate budget justifications.
• DoD financial systems: prepare, analyze, and update financial documentation; resolve discrepancies.
• Financial analysis: perform variance analysis, forecasting, and budget reviews; generate reports.
• Cost analysis: support cost estimates, CBAs, BCAs, and economic analyses.
• Data tools: develop Excel tools (pivot tables/macros) for reporting large datasets.
• Collaboration: work with program managers and government staff to ensure accurate reporting.
• Tracking: manage unliquidated obligations, open commitments, and disbursements.
