Job summary

Backcountry's Utah Fulfillment Center is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to keep on-site technology running smoothly for office and warehouse teams. You will provide hands-on support for Windows, macOS, and Android devices, manage user accounts, and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.

In this role, you will deploy laptops and handheld scanners, support printers, and track hardware assets while communicating clearly with non-technical staff.

Qualifications

• Must troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and Android environments.
• Experience configuring/maintaining Android handheld scanners.
• Experience supporting office and warehouse printers, including label printers.
• Experience managing user accounts: onboarding, offboarding, password resets, access records.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and Android issues for staff, daily help desk queue work.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, Android scanners, printers and charging stations.
• Manage user accounts end-to-end: onboarding, offboarding, password resets, access records.
• Support office and warehouse printers, including label printers used in fulfillment.
• Track and manage hardware assets through full lifecycle.
• Open, track, and escalate vendor service cases for warehouse equipment.
• Escalate complex issues with clear documentation for handoff.
• Communicate issues and resolutions to non-technical users clearly.
