Job summary

Turner Construction Co. is seeking an experienced Scheduling Lead for our Des Moines Main division, based in West Des Moines, IA.

You will oversee the scheduling group on complex construction projects, develop CPM baseline schedules, monitor progress, and collaborate with Preconstruction, Procurement, and Construction teams to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery. The role requires strong scheduling proficiency, experience on large projects, and familiarity with Lean and Last Planner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction or related field.
• Experience on large construction projects (> $100m).
• Scheduling certifications desired (AACE PSP, PMI-SP).
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and scheduling tools like Acumen Fuse/Change Inspector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to lead scheduling teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Scheduling team on one or more projects.
• Develop and maintain CPM baseline schedules and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate across Preconstruction, Procurement, Construction and other departments.
• Integrate BIM/4D and Last Planner System into schedules.
• Produce monthly progress updates and ORM scheduling metrics.
• Provide scheduling input for BD/proposals and contract documents.
