Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector in Chantilly, VA, seeks a Deputy Program Manager/Operations Manager to provide tactical and technical support to the Program Manager and serve as the backup contact at the customer site. The role leads day-to-day operations with senior customer management and oversees engineering and operations for secure government solutions.

The candidate must have a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, a Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering/PM, and 10+ years in IT or program management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, Program Management, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in information technology, telecommunications, or program management.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (current/active) strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project activities throughout the lifecycle to deliver on-time products and services per the statement of work.
• Develop and coordinate activities for all contract deliverables, including monthly program reviews, file transfers, invoices, ODC tracking, procurement, and maintenance reports.
• Support the Program Executive with weekly/biweekly customer meetings, innovation efforts, and engagement with senior leadership.
• Monitor and track risk management; raise issues and propose mitigations; identify critical dependencies and technical issues.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding of personnel; manage check-in process, account access, and security protocols at the customer facility.
• Attend technical review boards and assist senior engineers in determining technical solutions; briefing the customer as required.
• Supervise employees to monitor work and performance; provide mentorship and conduct regular performance reviews.
