Job summary

42 North Dental in Keene, NH seeks a TEMP and/or full- or part-time on-site Dentist to provide high-quality, comprehensive dental care to a diverse patient population. Qualifications

• Valid DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school and an active, unrestricted NH dental license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Proficiency in general dentistry procedures, including examinations, diagnostics, restorative care (fillings, crowns, bridges), simple extractions, and preventative treatments.
• Experience with digital radiography, electronic health records, and modern dental technologies; comfort adopting new clinical tools and workflows.
• Strong patient communication and education skills, with the ability to explain treatment options, risks, and benefits in a clear, compassionate manner.
• Demonstrated commitment to infection control, OSHA standards, and ethical, evidence-based clinical practice.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Prior clinical experience in a general practice or multi-specialty setting is preferred; completion of a residency program (AEGD/GPR) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform examinations, diagnose oral health conditions, and create and execute treatment plans.
• Deliver restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures in line with clinical best practices.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment options; maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with hygienists, assistants, and front office team to ensure a smooth, patient-centered experience.
